We purchased the jubilee stripe rug in November and were given the opportunity to take the small rug home and try out, and then we even changed our mind on the size we wanted and it was a hassle free and friendly service to change it to the next size up. I was very impressed that from the moment we changed our mind, the new rug was in stock and ready to pick up within a week. We are extremely happy with the purchase and we got a lovely new rug just in time for the winter chill. Top Interior designer - Sarah at Gregory Gray Interiors has been working on a large furnishings project in Godstone.

Her client loved her old traditional runner that she would like on her stairs, so we choose one of our patterns that was similar and made a complex hall runner in our premium tufted quality. She was very pleased with it.

This Harlequin Deco Cherry rug is normally made in our high end Nepali quality, but due to the shape and small size required by our client we made this in hand tufted with viscose, high & low pile and it has worked very well. As was such a success we are making another colourway for our stock soon..

Taken from a letter recieved today from the President of Ramkrishna Sewashram Hospital -

A big thank you from all of us at Ramkrishna Sewashram Hospital. As you know, health problems of colossal scale always loom large on the society, esp. the rural and semi-urban parts of India and it is often through the generosity of kind-hearted people like your good self that some of these problems are addressed. It is sometimes our privilege to be able to channel help to the right people.

 

Ramkrishna Sewashram Hospital will continue to hold free eye-camps for several months till the onset of summer season. Post-operation, patients are admitted for one night and they receive free meals. The surgeon examines the operation on the following day and also provides them with the required medicines and sun-glasses.

This design has been made on Cotton Poplin RRP £90 per liner m (at 1.47 wide).

January has been a very busy month for us. We have been attending trade shows. Rosie and Neil went to the Interior Design show at the NEC, while Bill & I visited Domotex in Germany and Bill is off to Maison Objet today!

It was great to visit Domotex, to chat to our suppliers and to go round all the halls to get a feel of what the trends of the year will be. There was a lot of Shaggy rugs and Fine Nepali. Silver was the colour of the show. Denise

Well ! The web boys have been busy and our new site is now live! Searching is easier, more products to a page for easier 'scanning', better page navigation, image zooming on product photos, integration of our magic box (create your own rug), plus a great admin section in the background (which you don't see of course). They are currently working on adding the thousands of bespoke rugs to the core database ... And when they've done all that we'll be developing the interactive video tour of the show room too! We aim to be as creative as possible on the website so if you have any ideas then let us know - you know what these techy guys are like - they love a challenge! Chris
